Kim Bowers is a Tattoo Artist and co-owner of Fallen Angels Tattoo Studios. She has been tattooing for over 15 years. Kim knew she wanted to be a tattoo artist before she graduated high school.

Originally from just outside of Allentown, Pennsylvania, her parents enrolled her in classes at the Baum Art Institute. Kim won her first art award in the third grade (drawing a photo of Freddy Kreuger), where the winning piece was put on display at the Allentown Art Museum.

Just out of high school, Kim began her tattoo apprenticeship in 1997 at Enchanted Expressions under Suzanne Howard and John Gelsbach, in Quakertown, PA. Later, Kim worked in various other shops in several other states such as Virginia and North Carolina, as well as Pennsylvania.

Kim enjoys almost every style of tattooing, but she is specifically known for her color work and custom pieces. She loves tattooing flowers and pictures of animals, along with horror and gore. Kim also enjoys creating art in various other mediums, such as acrylic and oil painting, which are among her favorites. She volunteers her spare time and donates some of her art to different charities and causes. Kim has been recently published internationally for donating a piece of her artwork to the Amsterdam Tattoo Museum Sketchbook.

Since 2010, Kim has been involved in the convention circuit, and has an award for “Best Lettering”. She has attended many tattoo seminars held by artists like Lyle Tuttle, BJ Soba, Joshua Carlton, Jeff Ensminger, and Jeremy Miller, to name a few.

Kim is the first tattoo artist and one of the first technicians, in the state of Pennsylvania, to be Tattoo Vanish Removal Method Certified. She is also Blood Borne Pathogen certified, and had gotten her CNA certification.
